Open NPS Account
The Individual can open an NPS account either online or offline by visiting the our branches also known as POP-SP (Point of Presence Service Provider)
Eligibility
To open an NPS account, the individual should meet the following criteria :
- Should be a citizen of India, including NRIs and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)
- Should be between the age of 18 to 65 years
- Should comply with the KYC requirements
Documents Required
- Proof of residence ( the subscriber can submit a copy of any of these documents - Aadhaar card, Passport issued by Government of India, Ration card with photo and address, Bank passbook or certificate with photo and address, Certificate from PoP (for existing customers only), Photo credit card, Valid driving license with photo and address, Voter ID card with photo and address, latest telephone bill (landline and post-paid mobile, latest property/house tax receipt that is not more than a year old)
- Proof of identity (the subscriber can submit a copy of any of these documents - Aadhaar card issued by Unique Identification Authority of India, Passport issued by Government of India, Ration card with photo, Bank passbook or certificate with photo, Certificate of PoP (for existing customers only), Photo credit card, Valid driving license with photo, PAN card issued by income tax department, Voter ID card with photo and address, Identity card issued by Central/State government and its departments)
- The subscriber can opt for Online KYC and the same can be used for online registration.
How to Open an NPS Account?
Offline
To open an NPS account, please visit our nearest branch , fill the registration form and submit it along with the relevant KYC documents and the initial contribution. The application will then be sent for processing, and once the application is processed by the CRA (Central Record Keeping Agency) CRA will dispatch the PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number) and the password to access Subscriber’ account.
Online
The subscriber can open an NPS account online. Please click on the Open NPS account Once the subscriber submits the details, and the upload relevant documents. he/she will be re-directed to a payment gateway for completing the payment towards NPS account.
Online registration for Retail NPS involves following 7 simple steps:
