Annuity: Annuity is a contract between an individual and an insurance company in which an individual makes a lump sum payment, in return, receives regular payout. Subscriber needs to purchase an annuity of an amount of at least 40% of corpus at time of retirement. In case of premature withdrawal subscribers need to purchase annuity of an amount of at least 80% of corpus.
